START A PROJECTOttawa is a two-hour drive from our Montréal base, and the work there looks different from what we shoot at home. Federal institutions, national associations and the Kanata tech corridor all brief the same way: a defined audience, an approval chain, and a deck that has to survive a committee.
So we work in English, arrive with a shot list already approved, and shoot to a schedule that respects a minister's or a CEO's half-hour window. Conference keynotes, panel recaps, leadership portraits, ByWard Market hospitality content: the range is wide but the standard of finish does not move.

The capital runs on institutional credibility. An Ottawa audience reads a badly lit interview or a shaky handheld frame as a signal about the organisation behind it, which is why our work here leans on controlled lighting, locked-off frames and sound that holds up on a conference room screen as easily as on a phone.
Frequently asked questions
You are based in Québec. Does working across the provincial line complicate anything?

Not on your side of it. We handle our own insurance, equipment transport and crew logistics into Ontario, and you deal with the same producer from the first call to final delivery.
Can the whole production be run and delivered in English?

Yes. Briefs, call sheets, on-set direction, interview questions and every cut, caption and title can be English-only. If you later need a French version of the same edit, we can build it from the same footage.
Who arranges permits for filming in public space downtown?

We do. Sidewalks, parks and NCA-managed land each have their own process, so we identify what a location needs during scouting and file the request ourselves. Filming on federal property or inside a secured building also needs your facilities or security contact looped in early.
We hold a multi-day conference. Can you cover it end to end?

Yes, with multiple cameras on the main stage, a roaming unit for breakouts and delegate reaction, and stills running in parallel. We agree in advance on which sessions matter most so the edit is not decided after the fact.
Our brand guidelines are strict. How do you work inside them?

Send them before we shoot, not after. Typography, colour, logo clear space and accessibility rules such as caption contrast shape how we frame and grade, and building to them from the start avoids a round of revisions that exists only to undo choices.
